The Clapham Kitchen

The couple who renovated this fabulous period home in London came to us with the perfect brief, they wanted their kitchen to be simple, stylish, functional and beautiful. They wanted traditional, handmade, English kitchens cupboards that were timeless in their design. They created a wonderfully big, bright room, at the back of their property; a space to hang out with the family, to cook, eat, socialise and just chill out. So we designed a kitchen that was perfect for this lifestyle.

It's amazing how a space that is well designed can really have an effect on how you live and how you feel on a day-to-day basis, it can really change your mood and your positivity when your home is filled with light and is calm and uncluttered. Sometimes you don't know why something looks just right, you can't put your finger on it, it just does. This is good design and it's what the designers at deVOL are passionate about.
