The Creamware Pendant Light

Description

Our Creamware Pendant Lights are made by hand at our ceramics studio in Leicestershire. Each light is cast using a smooth white earthenware clay and is finished with a glossy cream glaze.
 

This light includes:

  • a creamware ceramic shade
  • an antiqued brass E27 lampholder
  • a matching brass ceiling rose with screws
  • 3 metres of brown twisted flex cord
  • a dimmable LED filament bulb

Care & Maintenance

Metal finishes should only be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. Harsh cleaners and abrasive pads will damage and remove the finish. Always switch off the mains power before cleaning the fittings.

Always remove the shade before cleaning - taking care not to lose the shade ring or brass cuff. The shade can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. Abrasive pads could scratch or dull the surface finish.

Spare/replacement parts are available for this light, please contact our customer service team if needed.

Sustainability

Our lights are all handcrafted and assembled in the UK. We make every effort to source our materials and components from local suppliers in the UK. All of our lights are supplied with low wattage energy efficient LED filament bulbs.

Almost all of our packaging is recyclable and our designers are constantly working with suppliers to make improvements in this area.

Please recycle your packaging in accordance with local regulations.

You can view a full delivery quote for your basket and shipping address in the checkout. All charges shown include any applicable tax and duty.

We offer one tracked service from DHL. For UK orders, each item will be dispatched as soon as it is ready and should arrive within 1-3 business days.

International orders will be dispatched only when all items are ready and they should arrive within 3-5 business days. If you wish to receive individual items as soon as they are ready, please consider placing them as separate orders.

Returns

This item is eligible for return within 28 days of delivery.

Any items returned to us in the condition in which they were sent will be refunded in full, excluding any delivery fees (and a 10% restocking fee if you are ordering from outside of the UK).

We are unable to cover any return postage costs, or any loss or breakages that occur during the return process. We therefore recommend that returns are made using the original packaging with a tracked, insured and signed for service.

the perfect shade of cream, by deVOL

What a perfect addition this is to our classic lighting collection. Claire has been at deVOL since the summer of 2016. She is always busy making different pieces, from pendants to kitchenware and tiles – all as perfect as the last. And her new Creamware Pendant is no different, it’s very special. Claire has even said it is one of her all-time favourite things she has ever made!
What a lovely pendant, the style is reminiscent of simple creamware crockery often found in traditional French farmhouses. It’s not over the top or fussy, it’s simple and well-made, but a little different too. It can be hard to find authentic lights for your home, ones with a classic, vintage feel, but this one is spot on. We don’t like things that are ‘too perfect’, we prefer things that have character and soul, and we always want to offer our customers something that they couldn’t find anywhere else. Our Creamware Pendants are supplied with antiqued brass fittings and a dark brown twisted fabric flex cord, it’s the perfect match with the shiny, almost glass-like shade.
