The Orée Board

Wooden keyboards are nothing new but French hardware startup Orée is hoping to bring a bit of warmth to homes and offices with its wireless offering: Board.
Each keyboard is made from a single piece of maple or walnut and can be laser etched with different illustrations and fonts. The design is clean, well-proportioned and takes advantage of the unique properties of wood. Each Board is unique, featuring different wood grains and textures and must feel incredibly natural to type on.
Orée aims to move us away from tacky mass produced office equipment that have been designed for rapid obsolescence. Board is made with a blend of traditional and modern techniques that bring a more personal quality to the desktop computer.
