The Clerkenwell Showroom Finishing Touches…

This morning the finishing touches are being added to the Clerkenwell showroom. The carpenters arrived at 7am and so much work had already been done by the time I arrived at 9. This stage of a fit always takes a lot longer than expected but has a real impact on the high quality finish of our deVOL kitchens.
On Friday the Esse cooker was delivered and we managed to get it safely in the door. It wasn’t however put in place till this morning. I hope you agree by looking at the photos below that it looks great in our new showroom. When I design a kitchen the range cooker is a real focal point of the kitchen plan and I hope you will agree that this is true of this cooker too. The stark white colour of the cooker front really contrasts the deep blue of the furniture and popular tongue and groove paneling. It is a really elegant appliance even with its heavy duty ovens and cast iron doors. This Esse EL 13amp is also a very eco-friendly cooker and is known for it unique ability to ‘share’ the total amount of energy available over the whole cooker.
We are very close to opening now and I have already started taking appointments for prospective customers. I am looking forward to filling the showroom with our carefully chosen array of antiques in the next couple of days and then all we need to complete the showroom is some customers.
