simple and serene

This kitchen is in the city of Winchester near the beautiful South Downs and looks about as calming as a kitchen could possibly look.
The cupboards are from our Real Shaker range with the exception of the Butchers Block, which is a Classic English piece with a vintage worktop (sourced by the customer).
It features our standard Shaker cupboards painted in the most popular of our Shaker colours – Mushroom and the always beautiful Carrara Marble.
We would have loved to do a photo shoot of this kitchen as it just the kind we like, original features a plenty and full of simple style. But at this time of year photo-shoots can be tricky, the light fades early and the sky has more clouds and rain than sun, which isn’t great for getting beautiful pictures. It can be such a shame if there is no natural light and no little rays of sunshine as this can completely make a picture.
Luckily the lady who owns this kitchen was happy to take some photographs for me, they look great and have loads of atmosphere and show that even without fancy lighting and special props this room looks perfect.
