More little people!
2nd May 2014
I thought I’d take a few more pictures to show you all of the beautiful little dolls and animals which the Shreddies sewing girls have been making for us to sell here at Cotes Mill, it’s so much fun giving each creature their own name and their own little story!
Bertie, Bella and baby Bessie are the little cat familyInes and Amelie the little French dolls
Tarquin and Lettice the linen elephants
Cecile the festival doll, she’s got a little linen scarf and camo jacket on!
Clemence the little bear with a yellow dress, and Odile the linen rabbit with a vintage lace dress
Alonso the sleepy rabbit, he’s wearing little pyjamas, so cute!
This is Collette, she carries a suede bag and even has a little tattoo on her arm!
The four dolls; Collette, Cecile, Ines and Amelie, looking very cool!
The Shreddies girls have been so busy producing thousands of pairs of pants recently, it’s really nice to give them a little break to hand-make all of these amazing bits and bobs for the mill. There’s Louise, who’s the production manager at Shreddies; then there’s Rachel, who used to be the cleaner here at the Mill but is now loving her new job with Shreddies; there’s Emilie, who has a fashion design degree and has just recently joined us; and finally there’s Elena, who is from the Ukraine and used to make fur coats out of Beaver skins!
