Lots of love for The Sebastian Cox Kitchen

Since blogging about our very first Sebastian Cox magazine feature over a month ago, things have gone a little crazy! not bad crazy though… very good crazy!
We have had an insane amount of enquiries about the rustic loveliness that is our Seb Cox Kitchen, and after waiting very patiently, the beautiful magazine articles have started to flood in, and it’s been so worth the wait.
We do upload all of our fave magazine features to the press page of our website, but I thought these ones were so special that they deserved a little bit of extra love. (you can click on the images below to read each article a little more closely)
An awesome full page feature in Kitchen Bedroom & Bathroom’s ‘Style Selector’….
Another crazy full page plus a half page feature in EKBB magazine. This piece is called ‘back to nature’ and it’s all about embracing natural and sustainable materials to create beautiful kitchens. The Sebastian Cox Kitchen by deVOL is a design that completely utilises British grown Timbers, something that both Sebastian and us here at deVOL are really, really passionate about… so this article definitely gets the thumbs up from us.
We were very excited to see that Living Etc are loving the inky blue/black dye we have used to stain the cupboard doors. We went for a dye rather than a paint because we fell completely in love with the tactile finish it gave. The dye stains the wood rather than sitting on top of it like a paint, you can still see the sawn textures of the wood peeking through, so unique and so beautiful.
Oh, and we can’t forget about this amazing double page spread in Grand Designs, how cool!?
And yes we were super, super happy about this one! I’m sure you guys already know that Elle Deco is one of our absolute faves, we do a lovely full page advert in there each month, but whenever we receive an editorial feature it really does make us smile. Elle Deco have called the kitchen “simple and modern” and love that it proves “that handcrafted wood kitchens do not have to be twee”…
But this feature may just be my favourite of them all… Homes & Gardens magazine asked if they could borrow our very precious Sebastian Cox Pantry Cupboard for a photoshoot… of course we were very excited and of course we said yes! So they picked up the cupboard and took it away to be used in one of their own in-house lifestyle shoots. We can’t believe how lovely the finished photographs look, they totally bring this cupboard to life and prove just how perfectly this range of furniture can sit in a real home.
We would like to say a very big thank you to all of the incredible magazines and blogs who continue to support us, it really does make us happy to see our brand new kitchen range receiving so much love. We are excited to see plenty more Sebastian Cox Kitchen features popping up in the interiors mags over the next couple of months, so keep your eyes peeled and let us know if you spot anything!
