It’s in the Air – a brand new kitchen design from deVOL

The last few weeks at deVOL have been even busier than normal. Everyone is working extra hard to get our very stylish new kitchen range ‘Air’ ready to take to Earls Court next week. We have a stand at 100% Design from 19th – 22nd September 2012 and are all very excited to finally show this kitchen to the world. http://www.100percentdesign.co.uk/
We are also producing another beautiful deVOL brochure for the ‘Air’ range. It’s going to press today, so yesterday we took some final, lovely images of the kitchen and I thought it would be nice to give you a little pre show look.
The story behind ‘Air’ is very interesting and you can read all about it in the new brochure. It’s a perfect addition to our existing Classic and Shaker kitchens as it is quite different in many ways. Of course, it is still all hand made here at deVOL by our carpenters using the best materials. But instead of traditional hand painted Georgian and Shaker styled furniture this is something never seen before, a completely new look designed here at deVOL over the last year.
We can now satisfy even more of our customers, by offering a very contemporary kitchen. Curved aluminium sides, sleek simple cupboards, pod like oven cabinets and larders and totally beautiful worktops.
While dressing the shot yesterday, I thought, yes this is a very different kitchen and I really like it. It’s a bit retro, a bit contemporary, has freestanding elements which I love, buts above all it seems to be chameleon like, I think it will look good in any style of home.
