Denim Fridge!

For the launch of our Air range at 100% Design we partnered up with Smeg to supply the appliances. Having worked with them on this project you start to understand that Smeg are very different from other appliance manufactures. Instead of having to stick to strict production runs Smeg actively seek to do interesting projects that other appliance manufactures just would not do because of the small volumes involved. This demin fridge is a perfect example of this. They are also very enthusiastic about the products they sell and strive to develop new ideas. This was evident before the show when we decided not to use a Smeg sink because Smeg do not make a metal sink with tap holes but without a draining board. Instead of just dismissing it a lady from production said that in fact it would be possible to make one and would look into it, that afternoon, when she would be in Italy!
