#CookForSYRIA
6th January 2017
We are now very proud stockists of the #CookForSYRIA recipe book at our Cotes Mill showrooms.
Curated by one of our favourite Instagramers @clerkenewllboyec1, founder of travel and fashion journal ‘Suitcase’ @SerenaGuen and restaurant PR agency founder @gemmabelleats, not only is this book filled with delicious Syrian influenced recipes from some of the UK’s top chefs and restaurants, but most importantly, it helps to support a truly incredible cause. It’s a celebration of Syrian cuisine in aid of the largest humanitarian crisis of our time.
With support from Jamie Oliver and recipes from Yotam Ottolenghi, Bruno Loubet, Angela Hartnett, Nuno Mendes and Fergus Henderson to name only a few, restaurants across London and beyond are backing the #CookForSYRIA campaign by dedicating a dish on their menu to the cause, with £2 per plate sold donated to the Children of Syria fund which is powered by UNICEF’s Next Generation.
“We hope that through the #CookForSYRIA campaign we will not only be able to raise much needed money for Unicef UK’s Children of Syria Fund, we will also increase awareness of the plight of children in the war-torn country. Through cooking, sharing recipes and the power of social media, we invite everyone to help make a difference and positive contribution towards this important initiative.” – Clerkenwell Boy
100% of the profits made from this book are donated in aid of UNICEF’s humanitarian work to save children in Syria.
