A kitchen in Hitchin

We have just finished fitting this very simple freestanding Shaker kitchen and were very pleased with the finished look. Its a look that works perfectly in this lovely room with beautiful light coming into the space from the big windows. The furniture is very freestanding and with the wooden worktops its quite a change from the fitted kitchens we do so frequently now.
I love the simplicity of the space, no extractor, no cutouts in the cupboards and all painted in deVOL Linen. Its also really nice to see one of our Butchers Blocks with a marble worktop, a little surface in the kitchen that’s so useful and lovely and gives the room a feeling of being furnished rather than fitted.
