A Pink and Green Shaker Kitchen by deVOL

In a very pretty part of South London, you’ll find this deVOL kitchen. The room has an air of grandeur to it despite not being huge. The tall ceilings, the ornate coving, the large wide planks underfoot and now some beautiful and impeccably made furniture, it has all come together to create a space that feels really impressive yet welcoming at the same time. deVOL Shaker cupboards were the choice here. Made in our workshops in Leicestershire, this modular range is a really popular option for lots of our customers. The furniture is beautifully pared-back and will last a lifetime. It’s is easy to use, works in all kinds of properties and its simplicity allows everyone to add their own personality.
The U-shaped layout works really well, especially with the addition of the Shaker prep table in the middle. This creates extra storage and prep space and becomes the go-to spot for pulling up a stool any time of the day. It’s a good alternative to a classic island when you don’t have tons of space to play with, it gives you everything you need but doesn’t feel too chunky.
It is wonderful to see our two latest Shaker colours, ‘Wilkes Green’ and ‘Princelet Pink’, taking centre stage in this kitchen. We introduced these shades in the summer of 2023, they’re classic and traditional but we think a little different and fun too. We’re thrilled with how popular they have become already, perfect alone but perhaps extra charming together.
There are so many special details in this kitchen. From the huge sash window to the Calacatta Monet marble that tops the Shaker cabinetry, this pale stone and its crazy veining adds so much character and glamour to the room. The pink Zellige tiles on the cooker run create the prettiest splashback and pair so perfectly with our soft pink cupboards and brass rail.
The more you look at this deVOL kitchen, the more you find to admire. I do hope you like it as much as us.
