Lovely shelves for piles of plates

After my last blog on the amount of stuff people keep in their kitchen cupboards and how cluttered your kitchen would look if you couldn’t hide all these things away behind cupboard doors. I thought it was a good time to show the opposite way to display your kitchen things on open shelves but in a beautiful, useful and very simple way.

Shelves and open cupboards are so popular at the moment they allow you to create lovely focal points in your room using  your everyday items. I love piles of crockery all lined up on long shelves, colour co-ordinated or completely mis matched they give a very personal look to a room and a little insight into your style.
