Coloured Tints

The colours we have chosen for our Sebastian Cox cupboards were developed in our Leicestershire workshops. We use water-based stains that soak into the beech wood and enhance the natural colour of the timber. After staining, it’s rubbed back and a water-based lacquer is applied, which helps to protect the timber. The darker stains give a consistent colour to the finish whereas the lighter stains allow more of the natural colour of the beech to show through.
