Gourmet Food Truck Chef
We are looking for someone really special to join deVOL as a chef and food lover, to work in our newly renovated vintage food truck based at Cotes Mill, Loughborough.
This amazing position would suit someone who has an absolute passion for food, cooking, culture and good ingredients. Experience would be great but what we want is drive, passion and hard work from a person full of fun and talent. A great opportunity to join deVOL and create new excitement in a business that is recognised all over the world for its style, design and ability to be right on trend. deVOL’s social media is followed by many of the world’s best designers, food writers and cooks and you could become part of this huge following.
With the help of the directors you will organise all aspects of running a food truck from ordering and growing food to creating menus. We will also expect you to organise hygiene certificates and any other necessary applications that enable us to sell and serve food from a truck. We hope to make this new venture a really exciting addition to Cotes Mill and a place where customers and staff get to eat awesome food. We imagine the food will be influenced by new and traditional street food from all over the world, so you need to be knowledgeable, driven and full of ideas.
Everything we do at deVOL is with style and passion and expertise, this food truck is no exception. We need the successful applicant to be extraordinary, have a great repertoire of dishes they can cook for us, be really organised, totally motivated and prepared to work really hard to make this venture a huge success. We plan to make this food truck an integral part of deVOL and occasionally travelling down to Exmouth Market, East London to cook street food near our London showroom, an area where the street food scene is booming, will be just another amazing part of this role.
